Massive moves in the US saw the NAZ add 7.5% with 12% in AMZN alone, AAPL and MSFT adding 8% plus, this is likely more big funds getting caught offside in a CPI surprise and rushing to reposition.
While much of this may be short covering but the NASDAQ cleared the 50MA , closed at a high and has made a signal long that suggest this move has a way to go

FTSE 100 futures are +50 cash but cable at $1.17 may weigh on the index but AIM should pop today playing catch up mode on the mid caps
