Renewables in Focus : Positive catalysts for AFC, CHAR , GMS

AFC  First Factory Acceptance Test of 30kW H-Power Generator

The Company's first 30kW generator has satisfied all contractual tests and requirements of the FAT under its contractual agreements with partner, Speedy Hire Plc ("Speedy"), the UK's leading tools and equipment hire services company. Successfully completing the FAT confirms that the zero-emission generator is now ready for sale to Speedy Hydrogen Solutions, our dedicated hydrogen powered generator joint venture. Subsequent generators are currently in assembly.

CHAR Chariot Completion of Feasibility Study on Green Hydrogen Project in Mauritania

Highlights:

·      Further definition of the scale and viability of the project, building on the Pre-Feasibility Study completed in 2022 which confirmed that with up to 10 GW of electrolysis installed, Project Nour could become one of the largest green hydrogen projects globally

·     Intention to execute a phased development with a first phase renewable capacity of 3 GW, powering up to 1.6 GW of electrolysis capacity, to produce 150 kt of green hydrogen per annum

·      Offtake possibilities: domestic use for green steel production and export of green ammonia

·      Geographical proximity to Europe and existing deep-sea port at Nouadhibou provides favorable export options

·      Sustainable economic development with local content plan aimed at maximizing employment and business opportunities in Mauritania

·      Completed in compliance with Equator Principles and IFC Performance Standards

·      Next steps include completion of investment framework, engineering conceptual study and offtake negotiations

 

 

GMS Gulf marine Services - Sets up to add to strength with Updated Contract Win

GNS has been consolidating sideways and is set to  breakout, - this restaged contract win may provide the catalyst to stimulate the breakout

"The higher rate at which this contract has been awarded underscores the ongoing strength in demand for our vessels across the various markets in which we operate.  Additionally, the contract for the project's second phase, also granted to GMS in the Letter of Award, is currently in the final stages of processing and will be announced independently. The two phases of this contract shall elevate our backlog to USD 463 million, representing 3.1 times our 2023 revenue and instilling greater confidence in our attainment of our targets, facilitating the ongoing buildup of shareholder value."
