US selling abated though all indices red on the trading day : Transports showed continued weakness which is often a leading indicator of the broader indices. Dow made a new 14 motnh low but closed in a tight doji whcih mat signal a temporary bottom: S&P and NAs stayed north of their recent low
- FTSE futures showing a positive day as USD weakness
- VIX below 30 : just which should support a brief rally : need this to drop below 25 for a more sustained move
- Gold is holding above $1840
- Brent checked the 21EMA and held yesterday - tracing the 8 EMA : does seem to be losing momentum but if weak(er) dollar persists should rally
- copper is back above the 8EMA which could give some cheer
- OpEx today may support a rally but staying in liquid names and on short timeframes
